Game Electronic Shop Anyone Shopped For Electronic Games In Hong Kong?

Anyone shopped for electronic games in Hong Kong? - game electronic shop

I travel to Hong Kong and southern China in a few months and have the children that I buy a Nintendo DS or PSP or similar promise. Has anyone any idea where to start, perhaps the best place to look for. Hong Kong is actually much cheaper than in Australia for this sort of thing. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Electronic products in Hong Kong will be bought much cheaper from the following reasons:

A). We have no sales tax
B). Ozzie is the dollar to a record low against the dollar in Hong Kong,
C). In many places, do not expect to haggle and priced to.

The best place for the Games would be a 2 large retailers, the strength or Broadway and you have no trouble to have a console in English, if your looking for a good head, then by all means Sham Shui Po and Mong Kok, but I wouldnt recommend it.

Whatever you do, stay away from retailers in Tsim Sha Tsui, Nathan Road particulaly are the tourists and locals would buy all of them to rob known.

Broadway and strength are everywhere in Hong Kong, ask your concierge in the next.

For games, you can begin, Mong Kok, where many budget share held games like Sony PSP and Game Boy Advance SP, etc. It is likely that some Nintendo games to choose from. You can also use the main business centers of Hong Kong to try, where many shops that sell games, such as Shatin Town Plaza and the New Territories Festival Walk sold cheaply instead of playgrounds. Some items in Hong Kong should be cheaper than Australia, so that the hand of the game should not be kept apart.

Best Buy in Oz The prices are not very different. Note that many consoles are in Hong Kong Chinese, or the Wii in Japan. There are versions in English, but are more expensive.

Also note that some consoles region locks (Wii), and you can only play in this area, or if you have a console cracks, may not work with the games.

NDS is, as far as I know, free the region, sold for 1500 HK $ or less. I'm not sure what is the language of the screen, and if it is variable.

Remember, something for children who can not use, will bring a big disappointment for them.
